My name is Richard Grayling and I live in York in the UK.

 

After growing up in Kingston-Upon-Hull I fled Britain's shores for a while to work in the South of France. I found that a council estate in the North of England had proved to be an excellent training ground for the yachts and fabulous wealth of St Tropez and returned there each summer for a few more years.

Upon my return to England I lived in Surrey for four years and then Cornwall for two, I now find myself finally settled in York. My day job is IT but by night - and early mornings - I like to write.

I have 'finished' my first novel, Green Kiddies, which charts the progress of two lads from Hull who set off to the South of France in a rusty old Ford Capri (sound familiar?)
